《黑色星期天》誕生於1932年的法國，但是在1945年被銷燬，其原因就是因為造成了大約100多人的死亡。這首歌的作者是是匈牙利知名作曲家賴熱·謝賴什，創作的背景是在賴熱·謝賴什和他的女友分手後一度絕望的情況下作成，因此在歌曲和旋律中透露了一種悲傷欲絕的情感，很容易引起人們產生共鳴。所以，也就會有相當大一部分人聽完後選擇自殺。
